The Master Magnetics hang-type magnetic sweeper helps reduce the possibility of costly and dangerous flat tires and injuries caused by nails, scrap iron particles, welding remnants, wire, staples, tacks, and metal shavings. Our sweeper features permanent magnetism for long-lasting performance. It's suitable for various environments, from construction sites to roadsides. The sweeper can pick up 33 lbs of 8 penny nails from a 2' height, which is approximately 3000 pieces. Two eyebolts are installed on each magnet for mounting. Simply hang this magnetic sweeper from your forklift or vehicle bumper and 'sweep' all contaminated areas. Although the magnetic road sweeper will lift a 3.5' long 16 penny nail from 5' off the ground, the recommended sweeping height is from 2' to 4', depending on the terrain. Wipe the face of the magnet with a glove or heavy shop towel to dispose of unwanted iron.
